I just hope the sequel lives up to the original, plot-wise . . this was a fairly simple, classic sort of story, but it still had a lot of heart to it. I hope they don't lose that in favor of going for prettier and weirder and more impressive creatures/settings/tech (though honestly, I'm not sure how they could make it prettier - the whole movie was like a Michael Whelan painting that moved and talked).
