Date: 2009-08-09 05:13 am (UTC)1. Ducky and Gibbs in NCIS. I don't know why, but I want this to work.
2. Norrington/Jack Aubrey. 'nuff said.
3. Norrington/Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer: sex and snark, my two favorite things.
4. Lennier/Vir from Babylon 5. These two always struck me as an embodiment of "When elephants fight, the grass gets trampled." Mind you, they both come out ok in the series, but still..
5. Jack Harkness/Malcolm Reynolds. I can't explain this one, either.

Date: 2009-08-09 12:04 pm (UTC)1. Ianto doesn't die. He's somewhere else, he's wearing a HAZMAT suit, anything.
2. Norrington doesn't die. He accepts Elizabeth's offer, he LOCKS THE GODDAMNED CELL DOOR so that Bootstrap doesn't get out, or he takes the Dutchman's offer and serves on the ship.
3. Wash doesn't die in "Serenity."
4. Wesley at least has a little bit of warm-fuzzy relationship time with Fred before she turns into Illyria in "Angel."
5. Giles finds some other reason to leave Sunnydale in Season 6 of Buffy. The whole "O HAI YOU JUST GOT YANKED OUT OF HEAVEN AND ARE HAVING MAJOR ISSUES WITH IT SO I'LL TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO LEAVE SO THAT YOU CAN LEARN TO STAND ON YOUR OWN" thing never quite jived with me.

Date: 2009-08-09 06:16 pm (UTC)This is actually quite tricky... people so often just pretend the second and third movie didn't happen.
But, here we go:
1. Time and Time Again by
2. Sole Unquiet Thing, Five Hundred Fathoms and Three Bells and Cockleshells by
3. Shipwreck and Thunder by
4. You may be familiar with this one...
5. I'm digging.. I'll find a number 5. :)

3. HAH! Oh, that was awesome, especially as it continued in the next 3 chapters...
4. Hah! Well, thank you... as I said, I just wanted a bit of happy!James (come to that, I think it was the only one that did... perhaps I took an option that didn't deal with things raised... but who cares?)
5. p0wdermonkey's 19th-century pirates in Paris?
