Date: 2012-10-28 03:54 pm (UTC)Actually, watching Clark Gregg's reaction to all this has been a lot of fun. He seems so honestly enthused by the whole thing. :) He outright credits the fan response for bringing Coulson into the SHIELD series.
And, I have to admit, I've never seen a fandom do this before - there's been lots and lots of hysterical reactions after character deaths, but I've never seen anything quite like this level of total denial.
